About CPC - History
This club was established in Multimedia University by a group of
students who are keen on the development of cyberpreneur in 1999. The
launching of this club has received support by Cyberpreneurship
Development Center (CDC) of Faculty of Business and Law (FBL).
Some of our club’s glorious achievements include the Malaysian
Inter-Varsity Entrepreneur Contest (MIVEC) held in 2003 and also the
Entrepreneur Challenge which was held in July 2002 & 2003. Besides that,
our club had once launched and operated a restaurant located near the
food court next to the old library in 2001. Moreover, this society has
been conducting seminars and organizing visits to well-establish
companies such as Honda Motor Malaysia. Our club has also organized a
trip to the Kuala Lumpur International Money Fair 2003. These entire
yearly event planned has attracted students, not just from Faculty of
Business and Law (FBL) but also from Faculty of Engineering (FET) and
Faculty of Information Technology (FIST) to join the club.
Although this society is just starting out in Multimedia University, the
registration of members has been overwhelming every year. The number of
members has been increasing from year to year without fail. Currently,
we have 70 members in this club and we believe the number will increase
for every year to come.
